At Fylde Coast Breast Cancer Support Group (FCBCSG), we provide a safe, welcoming space for anyone affected by breast cancer. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or adjusting to life after cancer, you don’t have to face it alone.
FCBCSG was founded in 2018 with a simple but powerful goal—to create a supportive community where people affected by breast cancer could come together, share experiences, and support one another. What started as a small group meeting at Blackpool Hospital quickly grew into a thriving network of members, offering emotional support, practical guidance, and lasting friendships.
Like many, we faced challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, with in-person meetings put on hold. But the strength of our community never wavered. We adapted, stayed connected, and have since grown to over 290 members, welcoming people from across the Fylde Coast and beyond.
Our group meets regularly across the Fylde Coast, providing a warm, friendly space for members to talk, listen, and connect. We offer:
A welcoming community where no one feels alone.
Group sessions in Poulton and Lytham, with friendly conversations and shared experiences.
From exercise programs to creative workshops, we promote mental and physical health.
Connecting members with guest speakers, experts, and local resources to help them through their journey.
From coffee mornings to group outings, we create moments of joy, laughter, and shared strength.
You are not alone.
Whether you want to chat over a cup of tea, take part in activities, or simply listen and connect, our group is here for you.
